Full Time
The Social Sciences Faculty consists of an extensive suite of subjects, to include Business, Law, Economics, Sociology, Psychology, Health & Social Care.
You will have a real passion for their subject within this suite and a desire to work collaboratively with their Assistant Curriculum Leader and within a very well established team to ensure Social Sciences are outstanding at St Edmund’s. You will:
be an excellent teacher of their subject at KS3 (if applicable), 4 & 5.
have excellent communication and behaviour management skills
be actively supportive of the Catholic values and beliefs of St Edmund’s and to make a positive contribution to the wider life of the school.
With leadership experience of either Social Science subject (GCSE, A level and/or Vocational routes), accreditation of AST/NPQML status or similar would be an advantage together with strong organisational and highly effective planning skills. It is desirable for the successful candidate to have examiner experience.
