What does this role involve?
The King’s School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as the Curriculum Leader of PSHE and Teacher of Religious Studies. As the PSHE Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our Personal, Social, Health, and Economic (PSHE) education programme, ensuring it reflects the ethos and values of our School. Additionally, you will deliver high-quality Religious Studies lessons to engage and inspire students to learn about and understand the importance of both religion and ethics in our world today.

You will be integral to driving our new PSHE curriculum forward and delivering on our vision of providing a first-class education to all students, so that they make outstanding progress and get the chances in life they deserve.
Some of your key duties will include:
- Lead staff training in order to support the high quality delivery of the PSHE programme.
- Develop resources to enable the delivery of weekly PSHE lessons, organise and disseminate these to form tutors.
- To keep abreast of new developments in areas associated with PSHE to ensure the curriculum is relevant, up to date and responds to the current needs of students.
- To develop and embed a strategy for assessment in order to evidence student progress and understanding.
- To support the form tutors in the delivery of content.
- To ensure the PSHE programme fulfils the statutory requirements for Relationship, Sex and Health Education.
