We seek to an experienced and dynamic Curriculum Leader and outstanding teacher who has the energy, vision and ambition to lead a committed team of subject specialist teachers in our growing Social Sciences department.

The role involves leading and managing all aspects of TLA in Social Sciences and includes teaching on the courses. You will have a passion for teaching Social Sciences, be highly committed to supporting the progress of all learners and be a true champion of the fantastic opportunities that success on the A-level and level 3 Applied courses can lead to. You should have experience of managing within a team and of making a positive impact on the teaching, learning and assessment within a curriculum area.

To be successful you should be educated to degree level or equivalent, hold a teaching qualification and have previous experience of teaching A level Economics, A level Sociology, A level Politics or level 3 Applied Criminology. The ability to teach on more than one of the courses would be welcomed.
