We are looking to recruit a dynamic, skilled and creative Curriculum Leader with a specialism in Design Technology who is passionate about Design and Technology and Art education.
With responsibility for managing the Art, Photography, Food and Design and Technology team, along with an Assistant Faculty Leader and two technicians, you will have strong leadership and interpersonal skills that promote high quality teaching. You will be responsible for the development and management of this forward thinking and successful department.
We are looking for a Curriculum Leader who will embrace our drive to ensure that Design and Technology and Art is at the core of our curriculum and has students' progress at the forefront of their teaching.

About Droylsden Academy
Droylsden Academy is a mainstream, co-educational, non-denominational secondary school for children aged 11-16. It is situated in Droylsden, Manchester, and there are currently 850 pupils on its roll.
In September 2009, Droylsden School converted to academy status and moved into a state-of-the-art building with places for 1,200 pupils. The academy is sponsored by Tameside College and it works in partnership with the college to raise levels of attainment and the aspirations of students.
