Job Opportunity: Curriculum Support Manager

Salary: £24,150-£25,500 (FTE equivalent)

Hours: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (please note hours are 7:30-3:30pm Mon-Thurs, 7:30-3pm Friday)

We are seeking a dedicated and highly organised Curriculum Support Manager to play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of staff cover and ensuring the efficient running of our school. This position is essential to guaranteeing continuity in teaching and learning through the effective management of cover and various operational tasks.

As the Curriculum Support Manager, you will oversee the school's staff cover system, ensuring the appropriate deployment of teachers, supply staff, and Curriculum Support Officers to cover absences. You will be the key point of contact for any cover-related issues, working closely with school leaders and external agencies. Additionally, you will provide regular reports to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), including updates on cover costs and forward planning for busy periods.

Your role will also involve assisting with the organisation of whole-school activities, managing operational tasks such as duty rotas, student vaccinations, school photos, and on-call rotas. Additionally, you will support students throughout the day with general enquiries, such as lost timetables, contacting home, or calling a first aider. You will play a key part in ensuring the daily operations of the school run smoothly.
