What skills and experience we're looking for

Pegasus Academy is looking to appoint an exceptional Curriculum Team Leader for Modern Foreign Languages. We can offer a negotiable competitive salary for the right candidate with the appropriate level of experience.

What the school offers its staff

Pegasus Academy has a strong leadership team with enthusiastic and motivated staff with learners who are a credit to their community, with the mission to instil ambition and values to dream big in all our learners.

Pegasus is located just outside central Dudley at the intersection of several major roads and bus routes. It is the smallest secondary academy in the Trust with some 600 learners on roll. Since the creation of the Trust, a large number of new senior staff have been appointed. There has been an extensive programme of refurbishment, which continues.

Dudley Academies Trust was formed in September 2017 under the sponsorship of Dudley College of Technology. Our Trust schools are St James Academy, The Link Academy, Pegasus Academy, Beacon Hill Academy, Blowers Green Primary and Kate’s Hill Primary. The Trust when combined with the sponsor, annually supports 8,500 young people aged 4 to 19 years old and employs almost 1,300 staff.

As a Trust we are highly centralised, which means that all of our systems and processes are aligned. Everything we do is developed collaboratively involving many professionals and experts who work together across the Trust, all striving to provide the highest quality provision for our learners.

You will be joining the Trust at an exciting time as we are continuing our journey to provide a first-class education for the young people of Dudley, with outstanding teaching and learning being the Trust’s foremost priority. Closing date for applications is Tuesday 8th October 2024.

All successful applicants will need to undertake an enhanced disclosure and barring service check and children and adults barred list checks, where the applicant will be employed in a regulated activity.

Dudley Academies Trust is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds, including disabled, and black and ethnic minority applicants.

Commitment to safeguarding
