Job description

Outstanding and enthusiastic team leader required to RE to maintain the outstanding standards for student outcomes in the department to continue to develop and enhance the curriculum offered to our students. The successful candidate will be expected to be involved in RE teaching at all levels in the school.

About Northampton School for Boys

Northampton School for Boys is a state funded academy for boys aged 11-18, with a mixed Sixth Form. There are presently 1623 students on roll, of which 510 are in the Sixth Form (including 185 girls). The school holds Teaching School status and was graded as Outstanding in all aspects of its latest Ofsted inspection. Overall GCSE results in 2018 were also outstanding across the curriculum at +0.66 for Progress 8 for the whole cohort and +0.82 for the disadvantaged cohort. The school is also renowned for its exceptional extra-curricular programme, particularly in art, drama, music and sport.
