D&T Teacher (Food & Nutrition) - with Recruitment and Retention payment, Full or Part time job summary

We are looking for an excellent Design & Technology Teacher (with ability to teach Food & Nutrition to Key Stage 4) to work with the Head of Art and contribute towards its existing strengths and successes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, nutrition, hospitality and catering and the ability to teach practical lessons in Food Studies, providing a creative, safe and exciting atmosphere for students to maintain excellent and ambitious outcomes.


The successful candidate will uphold Wolgarston's 100% ethos, have the ability to deliver high quality teaching that drives achievement and inspires a love of learning. You will be able to demonstrate experience of achieving positive outcomes for pupils, as well as being passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people. This is a permanent role starting January/February or Easter 2025, we welcome applications from candidates looking for full time or part time hours offering Main Pay/Upper Pay Scale commensurate with experience + We understand the importance of attracting and retaining top talent, which is why we're offering an recruitment and retention package worth £4000 on top of your annual salary. This includes a payment of £1500 on your start date, with an additional payment of £1500 on the 1st anniversary of your start date and £1000 on the 2nd anniversary.
