D & T Technician job summary
We are looking to appoint a Technician to support the Design and Technology Department according to timetable requirements on a 35 hours per week contract. The Technician provides practical support across the whole Department in all aspects of its work including:
Assist teachers with the D&T practicals;
Support students in their D&T practicals;
Organisation and preparation of materials and equipment to support practical classroom based activities;
- Order equipment, materials and teaching aids;
Cleaning and maintenance of the equipment to a very high standard;
Undertake reprographics and clerical duties for the Design and Technology Department.
