D&T Textiles Technician

We are delighted to advertise an excellent opportunity to join our professional support team for an enthusiastic part-time Design and Technology Textiles Technician at our highly successful College. The
post, for 19.5 hours per week, is term-time only. The successful candidate will be a highly valued member of a supportive and friendly design department team and will provide support in Textiles, preparing
materials for lessons, setting up sewing machines, managing stock and supporting students in practical lessons. Pattern cutting experience is highly desirable.

About the role:
• Grade 6, SCP 9-15
• Actual annual salary £21,269-£23,953, paid pro rata, per annum
• Term-time only, plus six inset days
• 19.5 hours per week
• Grade C/4 in Maths & English and excellent communication/ administrative skills are essential
