Dart Centre Saturday Receptionist - Front of House job summary

4 hours per week, 8.30am to 12.30pm, 52 weeks per year. Grade C – Step 1 Actual Salary £2,498.76 (which is equivalent to a full time salary of £23,115).

Wildern School’s Community Arts provision is located within a specialist arts block (The Dart Centre) that boasts sprung dance floors, music suites, digital music suites, practice rooms, recording studios and drama studios all of which are fully rigged and supported by wardrobe with fantastic arts supplies and equipment. We have international links, a national reputation and are at the heart of the community. With an on-site professional 300 seat theatre, this is a great opportunity for the right person to join our team.

The role will provide support for the Community Arts team, including administration and supporting the development and day to day organisation of the extensive and varied community arts programme. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of disciplines as well as creating and developing your own skills and ideas which is a specific feature of this role.

The successful applicant will be responsible for locking up the Dart Centre and must be able to show initiative and understanding of arts in a community context. Strong administrative, communication and IT skills are important and a passion for the arts is essential. Knowledge and previous experience of marketing, social media and a keen interest in the arts would be highly desirable.
