Broadlands Academy is actively seeking a Data and Examinations Officer to join our team starting in September 2024. This position plays a vital role in utilising data effectively to establish academy-wide priorities, conducting timely and accurate data analysis, supporting behaviour and attendance management, and assisting with exam administration.
At Broadlands Academy, we are a small secondary school, which is why we have combined the responsibilities of examinations and data management into one role. As the Data and Examinations Officer, you will work closely with a tight-knit team and the school community to ensure the smooth operation of exams and efficient management of data.
Key duties include:
* Manage the timetabling and preparation of examination rooms and organise exam invigilators.
* Coordinate the publication of exam result dates and communicate these with students and staff.
* Ensure availability and analysis of accurate and meaningful data to facilitate effective teaching and learning, behaviour and improved outcomes.
* Provide data for analysis of assessment outcomes and development of improvement strategies.
Oversee reporting to parents/carers and use data to identify and monitor target and intervention groups.
The ideal candidate should possess strong teamwork skills along with exceptional organisational, planning, and prioritisation abilities. Furthermore, excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
