Data and Insights Lead job summary
Are you a data expert passionate about driving positive change in education? Broadleaf Partnership Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data and Insights Lead to join our central team. This pivotal role will support our strategic objectives by developing and managing robust data systems and processes across our Trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the Trust's goals.
- Analyse key data sets including pupil achievement, attendance, workforce metrics, and stakeholder surveys to generate actionable insights.
- Ensure the accuracy, security, and integrity of all data systems across the Trust.
- Provide central support to schools on data management, statutory data returns, and internal assessments.
- Collaborate with school leaders on safeguarding data management and compliance.
- Serve as the Trust's Data Protection Officer, ensuring compliance with data protection laws.
- Manage and optimise our data architecture including our management information systems and harnessing AI
- Deliver training and professional development on data literacy and management tools.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in a senior data management role, ideally in the education sector.
- Expertise in data analysis, visualisation tools, and management information systems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Ability to lead data protection compliance and train staff on data systems effectively.
