About us and the role

Join our team as a Data Manager and take charge of our school's timetabling, exam arrangements, and reporting systems. You'll curate and analyse data, ensuring our MIS is used with integrity and our information stays accurate and secure. Conduct research, write impactful reports, and oversee third-party reporting systems, empowering users to perform their own analysis.

What will you do?

  • Create and maintain school timetable, set/class lists, and staff deployment data.
  • Develop performance reports, school profiles and curriculum data analyses for SLT, ELT and external agencies.
  • Formulate strategies to close attainment gaps and reduce in-school variance between subjects.
  • Coordinate data collection for OFSTED inspections and ensure data accuracy, confidentiality and security.
  • Manage internal assessments, statutory returns and local authority data, using third-party tools for benchmarks and targets.
  • Oversee exam registration, budget, secure storage and ensure compliance with JCQ regulations, supporting learning support and Heads of Department.

What are we looking for?

  • Demonstrable experience of developing and maintaining administrative systems and procedures.
  • Significant experience of working in a similar role within an educational setting
  • Experience of supervising other administrative staff effectively including the allocation of work
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people
