What skills and experience we're looking for

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of Data Manager at Malet Lambert. We are looking to appoint a skilled, enthusiastic, and motivated person to join our successful team. You will organise and control the school’s data systems and procedures, report and analyse data to inform and advise the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team and Governing Body. You will ensure the schools data systems are compliant with GDPR, along with the leadership and development of the Data and Exams Team.

We are looking for individuals who have experience of using complex computerised systems and have the ability to interpret data applying a high level of data analysis and statistics skills. The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively in a variety of written and verbal formats with a wide range of people; external individuals, organisations and agencies. They will also have the ability to work independently interpreting and applying relevant guidance, policies and procedures.

The working hours are up to 37 hours per week from 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday during the school term. You will also be paid for an additional 10 days per year, which enables you to attend team meetings, training and development that sits outside your normal working hours. Your actual salary is £28,211 per annum, and this is paid in 12 equal instalments over the year so even when it is the summer holidays, you continue to receive the same payment that month.
