What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful applicant will have:
a mandatory Teacher of the Deaf Qualification
sound knowledge and understanding of audiology
minimum Level 1 signing qualification
experience of teaching and supporting deaf and hearing impaired pupils in mainstream schools or in an alternative provision educational setting
a commitment to collaborative working and liaising with mainstream teachers, parents/carers and other professionals, agencies and services as appropriate;
have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and
promote effective, inclusive education for deaf children.
