Deputy Catering Manager job summary
Are you passionate about great food and leading teams? Swanshurst School is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Deputy Catering Manager to help lead our large, successful in-house catering team. You will support the Head Chef and Catering Manager in delivering high-quality, nutritious meals for our 1,920 pupils and over 200 staff, while inspiring a love of food and excellent customer service across the school.
What you will do:
Support day-to-day operations of the catering team and deputise for senior catering staff
Help plan and deliver varied, healthy menus in line with national standards
Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations
Foster a collaborative, supportive working environment that motivates staff and encourages professional
development
