Benfield School is characterised by its strong inclusive and community spirit and friendly working environment. ‘Pride in Performance’ is one of our core values and is tangible throughout the school, underpinned by a culture of respect and strong relationships between students, parents/carers and staff.
The school has been through a considerable period of change in recent years, with the appointment of a new Headteacher in September 2018, and a full re-structure of the senior leadership team planned for September 2021 in order to raise standards and provide the best possible quality of education for our pupils. We were pleased that the school’s improvement was recognised in our 2020 Ofsted inspection and we are looking to build upon this with urgency and with a rapid pace in order to achieve an outstanding grade at the school’s next inspection.
Staff are proud of our students, our community and of our wonderful school and facilities. At the heart of the school is a strong, caring, system of pastoral support and a focus on the personal development and well-being of our students.
