What the school offers its staff
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher and innovative leader as Deputy Curriculum Leader of Science, who will work alongside our Director of Science, and a committed team of Science teachers. We are looking to appoint a colleague who will bring experience of raising achievement
Our school is one of six primary and secondary schools within the NEAT Academy Trust family of schools. At the heart of our trust is the aim to nurture, educate, achieve and transform the lives of all young people within the communities we serve across the North East. We have a national research school, which aims to build and strengthen networks of schools throughout the region and help them access effective education research and implement it in everyday practice.
The successful candidate will be an outstanding teacher and strong communicator, who has the ability to inspire pupils and colleagues. They will be expected to assist with the strategic planning and delivery of Science throughout the school. This is an exciting opportunity to be part the leadership team within the Science Department, the successful candidate will have a significant input in shaping the department’s future.
