What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic manager to act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead alongside organising and leading the pastoral support team. Applicants should have a vast knowledge of safeguarding and child protection regulations and a keen interest in all aspects of students’ mental health, well-being and achievement.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Understanding of legislation and regulations, i.e. GDPR
- A knowledge of child protection and safeguarding regulations
- Knowledge & understanding of the current Keeping Children Safe In Education 2023 guidance
- Experience of working with safeguarding software such as MYConcern or CPOMS
