Deputy Designated Teacher job summary

Deputy Designated Teacher

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated person to work as our Deputy Designated Teacher and to be a part of our Safeguarding Team at Passmores Academy. The successful candidate does not need to hold a teaching qualification. This is a vital role where you will be supporting our Looked After and Previously Looked After Children and their carers. You will be liaising with their Social Workers and the Virtual School to ensure optimal outcomes. Outstanding written and verbal communication and competent IT skills are essential for this role. You will need to be happy to learn how to chair meetings and complete the required paperwork for this cohort. In addition, you will be a part of the Safeguarding Team, assisting a range of students in need of additional wellbeing support. 37 hours per week

42 working weeks (48.1 paid weeks)

Salary: Scale 7 Point 19 - £30,466.00 pro rata per annum (including fringe allowance)
