Deputy Director of Science job summary

We require an experieced teacher to assist the Director of Science, to maximise the achievement of students in the Science curriculum against national and locally agreed benchmarked targets and to maximise the quality of teaching. In particular to ensure there is no ‘inadequate’ teaching, and to maximise the proportion of ‘outstanding’ teaching.

To ensure delivery of Teaching and Learning Strategies.
To ensure the curriculum is up to date and innovative.
To develop mastery and problem solving across all Key Stages
To maximise the learning opportunities for students.
To line manage all the teaching abd support staff in the Science Faculty.
