Deputy Estates Leader job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Estates Leader, who will work to support the Estates Leader in day-to-day management of the trust’s sites and staff in relation to Health and Safety, building compliance, general maintenance and contractor management. The post-holder will take responsibility for overseeing the Health and Safety and statutory compliance for Aston Community Education Trust. This is a new post, which has been added to our structure to add capacity and drive improvements throughout.
The ACET Estates team works at a high standard throughout. Working within the team , the Deputy Estates Leader will support the ACET Estates Leader in making sure all areas of Health and Safety and Compliance are adhered to, having a knowledge and expertise in schools/academies offering support and management making sure that all tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively, supporting the Site Teams.

Successful candidates will be subject to a DBS check at the appropriate level. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a self-declaration related to their criminal record or any information that would make them unsuitable to work with children. Additional checks in relation to the Childcare Disqualification Regulations will be undertaken for successful candidates to junior academies. If you have lived or worked outside of the UK, additional information may be required from you to satisfy safer recruitment checks.
