Deputy Head (Academic) job summary
Due to the promotion of the current postholder to Headship, we seek an excellent candidate for the position of Deputy Head, Academic.
We are proud of our exceptional academic results and are looking for an individual who has the knowledge, skills and experience to ensure that excellence is sustained. The role is suited to someone who relishes challenge and is excited to take on a role of real significance. The successful candidate may well be looking towards Headship in the future and will be well supported on their journey towards this.
As a 7-18 state boarding school, we are proud of our community and would expect the successful candidate to fully embrace all the school has to offer.
We provide an inclusive and all-round education, deliver academic progress and success and inspire leadership and character in all our pupils. The strength of our school lies in its three pillars: academic, boarding and pastoral and co-curriculum working effectively together. Each area is led by a Deputy Head and an ability to work well within a team whilst also having a clear and aspirational vision is imperative.
