What skills and experience we're looking for
- A role model of positivity and aspiration for our staff and children. You have vision, energy and resilience, can inspire and lead others.
- Someone who does not believe business as usual is good enough: you want to develop new approaches, challenge outdated assumptions and research new practice
- Someone with a deep commitment to building strong relationships amongst children, between adults and children, between the school, the families and the local and wider community
- Commitment to achieving and leading on high standards of teaching, learning and behaviour for all children
- A leader who is organised, self-motivated and can back up their big ideas with systems and plans to make things happen.
- A passion for personal growth and professional learning; you read, engage with research, are reflective and constantly looking to improve
- Someone with extensive knowledge of teaching preferably including Early Years and experience of working successfully with the most vulnerable learners.
- An experienced leader and effective communicator who understands the logistics of working in and organising a busy, primary school and is calm under pressure.
