The school has an excellent CPD programme and is committed to developing all staff, as we continue our journey to becoming an ‘Outstanding’ school. This includes three staff training afternoons, two department meetings and one twilight training session every 6 weeks. Lessons finish for students at 1:30pm on a Friday.
The Deputy Head of Computer Science is expected to secure high standards of learning and achievement for all students through the delivery of outstanding teaching and supporting curriculum development. It is essential that the post holder gives active support to the vision and ethos of Norlington.
You will be committed to working closely with the Head of Department, building the skills required to soon lead a department of your own.

We require from September 2019:
• A committed and dynamic teacher of Computer Science with a 'can do' attitude.
• Someone who demonstrates high levels of ambition and optimism regarding what the students can achieve.
• An innovative practitioner who is creative in their delivery of the KS 3, 4 & 5 curriculum.
• A leader who can work within the department, further raising the attainment of Computer Science
• An ambitious teacher looking to be Head of Department in the future.
