Deputy Head of Mathematics job summary

We are seeking to appoint a Deputy Head of Mathematics to join and help lead our mathematics team. This is an opportunity for an excellent teacher who is looking to further develop their leadership skills, and have a significant impact on teaching and learning in a core subject.

The Mathematics Department is a large team with very many strengths but there is ample opportunity to influence the further development of curriculum planning, the teaching of the curriculum and to positively impact on students’ life chances. We are looking for someone who is excited by opportunities for professional development so that we can support their career progression towards department leadership and beyond.
