What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Maths Teacher to take on an additional responsibility of Deputy Head of Maths, here at the Wells Academy!
About the role:
You must be passionate about Maths as a subject and the delivery of an effective curriculum to pupils of all ages and abilities. We expect that, through leading your effective teaching and learning, all pupils will be inspired to achieve the outstanding progress that we know they are capable of.
You will be accountable for student progress and development within the faculty and to ensure staff comply with the standards set at national, trust and academy level.You will actively support the implementation of an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant curriculum in the faculty, in accordance with the academy's strategic anchors of:
- Uphold a culture of high expectations
- Develop an ambitious and inclusive knowledge-rich curriculum
- Raise standards of expert, evidence-informed teaching
