ABOUT THE ROLE

City of London Academies Trust (COLAT) is seeking to appoint a Deputy Head of Sixth Form for September 2024 for our small, growing sixth form. You will be an experienced teacher looking for a new challenge. You will be working closely with the Head of Sixth Form and the Assistant Principal responsible for the Sixth Form. Responsibilities include promoting high expectations in all aspects of Sixth Form and academy life, organising the Sixth Form programmes and activities, assisting with admissions administration and supporting the promotion of the Sixth Form to internal and external students. This position would require the successful candidate to be available for A level and GCSE results days.

ABOUT YOU

You will be an experienced and outstanding teacher who has successfully delivered the A level curriculum. It would be highly advantageous if you can teach any of the following subjects to at least KS4: Music, English with Drama and Humanities in particular Geography and RE. Please state what subjects you teach in your application. You will have great behaviour management strategies and you will also have excellent organisation and communication skills to liaise with students, staff, parents and external organisations. If you can teach other subjects please highlight this in your application.
