What skills and experience we're looking for
Due to a promotion, Millthorpe School is looking to recruit a Deputy Head of Year to start as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity to join our highly successful and inclusive pastoral team.
You will assist the Head of Year with the leadership of the assigned year group, and provide the full range of pastoral support to students within the year. You will support behaviour, attendance and both personal and academic development of young people, helping drive up standards and supporting all students to become the best that they can be.
You will have experience of working with young people, in particular those with behavioural or emotional difficulties, but this does not necessarily have to be within a school setting. You will be committed to supporting all students, and have the ability to develop highly effective, professional relationships with them in order that they can thrive at school.
Interviews will be held on Wednesday 21 February 2024.
An application form and further details are available to download from the Trust website: https://southbanktrust.co.uk/careers/
Please email completed applications to recruitment@southbanktrust.co.uk for the attention of Gemma Greenhalgh.
