St Mary’s Catholic Primary School is a delightful and welcoming one form entry primary school with 200 pupils located towards the North of Northampton. St Mary’s is part of Our Lady Immaculate Catholic Academies Trust and is one of three Catholic primary schools with strong links to the only Catholic Secondary School in Northamptonshire; all 4 schools work closely with the other 7 primaries and other secondary school in the Trust across Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire.
The school is seeking a practising and dedicated Roman Catholic Deputy Headteacher who is really inspired by the journey so far and is excited to support the Executive Headteacher to embrace the opportunities that the school has to offer.
The Trust is seeking. an inspirational, practising and dedicated Roman Catholic Deputy Headteacher who, with the support of the Trust, will support the Executive Headteacher to take St Mary’s on an incredible journey of school improvement. St Mary’s has the potential to provide an outstanding Catholic education for the primary school of children in Northampton and strives for excellence in teaching and enjoyment of learning underpinned by Gospel values and practices.
This would be the ideal opportunity for an experienced teacher who is seeking their first Deputy Headship, or someone looking for their next exciting leadership challenge in a growing and expanding Trust. For a suitably experienced candidate seeking a leadership role but is not a practising Catholic, a position of Assistant Head may be available. The role will include some classroom responsibility and you will have the prospect of working across our other schools to share expertise and promote good practice.
