What skills and experience we're looking for

We are wishing to appoint a Deputy Headteacher who:

  • Has a clear understanding of outstanding teaching and learning across the primary phase, and the skills and knowledge to improve teaching and learning
  • Can consistently demonstrate effective practice in enabling children to learn across the primary phase
  • Has strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire colleagues, children and parents
  • Believes that children deserve the best and is prepared to go the extra mile
  • Has the drive to lead areas of school improvement, in order to make a substantial contribution to the School’s future development
  • Is able to successfully challenge and address issues which potentially stand in the way of pupil progress
