The Board of Directors of Our Lady and All Saints Catholic MAC, wish to appoint a dedicated, inspirational and committed individual to the post of Deputy Head Teacher at Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School.
Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School is a hidden primary school gem providing strong Catholic faith-based education in the heart of a diverse community. Visitors are always impressed with the excellent behaviour of our children who in later years are proud to have been part of Our Lady’s family. The school provides good academic standards and exceptional pastoral care by a dedicated staff. Pupils receive a sound educational grounding to prepare them for their future.
We are looking for somebody who:
- Is a practising Catholic with a strong personal faith with a passion for our faith and a strong sense of vocation
- Is an exceptional practitioner who is passionate about education and the difference it makes to children’s lives and puts the safety and wellbeing of children at the heart of all they do
- Is a forward thinking practitioner with a key interest in innovation and research to drive teaching and learning forward for all pupils including SEND
- Has an ambitious drive and high expectations of achievement for all pupils and has the motivation, organisation with the inter-personal skills to inspire this in
- Has initiative, drive, integrity and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Has the ability to manage change and shape future school improvement
- Is committed to working collaboratively with staff, parents/carers, governors, parish and local community
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Catholic Life of the school
- Teaching and learning
- Curriculum and CPD
- Subject leadership
- Mentoring and Coaching including ECTs
- Timetables and Organisation including monitoring
- Supporting the HT with strategic school development

Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School is part of Our Lady`s and All Saint`s Multi Academy Company, newly formed in April 2021. We are a new MAC consisting of 14 schools with an ambitious vision and mission to promote Catholic Education through being a “family” of schools strong in faith. This is a great time to join a new MAC that is building our “family” of schools for the future. You will be expected to play your part in our strategic and operational development. It is fast paced but exciting and great time to join this Catholic MAC and further your development as a leader in Catholic education.
