Deputy Head Teacher job summary

The Governing Board of Whitehouse Common Primary School & Nursery are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher to the post of Deputy Head. The person appointed will need enthusiasm, energy and vision to share in leading and managing our hardworking school. In particular the new Deputy will lead assessment, curriculum development and key areas for school improvement with a focus on further raising our standards of achievement. The successful candidate will be non-class based but may be expected to cover across the school, deliver intervention and team-teach as required. They will be a Designated Safeguarding Lead and performance manage staff teams
