Lindow Community Primary School is situated at the end of a quiet country lane, 1½ miles from Wilmslow town centre, Cheshire. It has extensive grounds and is surrounded by fields. The school founded in 1863, moved to its current premises in 1970.
The school is a Group 2 Community Primary School for children aged 4 – 11 years. The number of pupils on roll is 194. The Published Admission Number is 30 pupils. There are 7 classes: Reception and Years 1 - 6.
The school has a Specialist Hearing Impaired Resource Base: for up to 12 pupils.
Lindow Community Primary School has a Headteacher, 10 qualified teachers and 18 teaching assistants.
The school day starts at 9am, lunch is from 12 – 1 pm, school finishes at 3.15pm for Reception and KS1, 3.30pm for KS2. Wraparound care, run in-house, is available for all children as required.
The last Ofsted inspection in 2018 judged our school as Good.
