Deputy Head - Teaching & Learning job summary

Alderbury & West Grimsead CEVA Primary School is located 4 miles south east of Salisbury and enjoys a delightful semi-rural location. We are fortunate to be able to offer single age classes from Year R to Year 6. We are on an exciting journey of continual improvement and are committed to raising standards and achieving excellence through the provision of well planned, creative and memorable learning opportunities for every child.

We are seeking to appoint Deputy Headteacher from September 2020 (an earlier start may be possible for the right applicant). This is an exciting new post to work alongside the existing leadership team. The successful applicant will be passionate and dynamic in their drive to improve teaching and learning within the school.

We are looking for someone who:
 can lead teaching and learning across the school
 is caring and committed, with excellent interpersonal skills
 has high expectations and the ability to motivate all children
 works well as part of a team, is flexible and proactive
 is able to provide strong curriculum leadership
