Deputy Head - Teaching & Learning or Pupil Progress job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a candidate of exceptional ability to join the school. We seek to appoint a highly motivated and inspirational Deputy Headteacher who can play a leading role in either Teaching & Learning or Pupil Progress , and in taking the school forward to its next stage of development.
The successful candidate will be an outstanding classroom practitioner and experienced senior leader with a ‘track record’ of school improvement and ability to inspire and lead a committed team of staff. For the Teaching and Learning position, you will need to have extensive knowledge of and willingness to develop an understanding of educational theory, developments and best practice. The Pupil Progress role will require an ability to develop and organise evidence-based interventions within a tight budget to deliver the best outcomes for students.
You will enjoy working with our motivated, well-behaved pupils and with a supportive and hard-working staff in this highly respected over-subscribed 11 - 18 mixed comprehensive school.
