Deputy Head job summary
Tudor Grange Primary Academy Yew Tree is a thriving and highly
successful single-form Primary Academy which serves the community in Solihull.
A vacancy has arisen and we are looking to appoint a new Deputy Head of School
to start in January 2024. If you are an established senior leader who strives to
make a difference and be significant in the lives of others, Tudor Grange
Primary Academy Yew Tree would welcome you as part of the team.
The successful candidate will be working under the direction of the
Principal who has very high aspirations for the academy and this is a fantastic
opportunity for an inspiring and dedicated leader to join us at an exciting
time in our development. The role will be primarily non-class based.
Applications are invited from experienced teachers and leaders with the ability, passion and commitment to play an active role in the leadership and management of the academy, with aspirations towards headship in the future.
We need a Deputy Head of School
who:
- Can work under the direction of the Principal and play an active role in the leadership and management of the school
- Is enthusiastic, resilient, and genuinely enjoys teaching and can demonstrate skills compatible with our Academy’s vision, mission, and values
- Is prepared to strive to enable every child to achieve their potential
- Is reflective in their practice and self-motivated
- Is creative
- Has excellent teaching, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Is committed to personal career progression and enhancement
