Experience of working in a school supporting pupils with additional or special educational needs.
Committed to inclusion with a good working knowledge of the SEN code of practice.
Recent leadership and management experience in a primary school, including line managing staff
Evidence of leading improvements across school
Evidence of working in partnership with parents and external agencies
A strong track record of effective teaching and learning
Knowledge of how to use data to monitor and improve pupil progress.
Able to cater for a wide range of ability through differentiation in planning and teaching.
Knowledge of monitoring and assessment strategies to improve teaching and learning
Able to use ICT to support teaching, learning and personal administration.
Understanding of appropriate strategies for managing challenging behaviours
Able to communicate effectively orally and in writing to a wide range of audiences.
