Deputy Headteacher and EYFS Leader job summary
The Oak Trust are seeking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher who wants to make a mark, who has ambition for our children and who understands what it means to achieve excellence; someone who can articulate a clear vision of success to children and adults and who can develop our early years provision to build stronger foundations. The Deputy Headteacher will play a key role in supporting the Headteacher and leading on the next stages of development at Thorp Primary School.
We are a one-form entry primary and nursery school positioned at the heart of our community under new leadership. We are a ‘Good’ school and strive to become ‘Outstanding’. We are a school with high standards, traditional values, who invests in both the pupils and the staff.

We are looking to appoint someone who:
• is an excellent practitioner and professional role model
• has a commitment to raising standards of achievement through the development of outstanding teaching and learning
• has drive, vision and management experience of inspiring children and staff in improving outcomes
• has previous experience or the capacity to lead, coordinate and provide professional guidance for the Early Years curriculum
• has had previous experience of engaging and strengthening community and family links to enhance learning
• is committed to inclusion and the safeguarding of children
