Salary: L16 - L20 on the Leadership Pay Scale (currently £59,528 - £65,561)
We are seeking to appoint a leader with an excellent track record at driving standards of behaviour, attendance and school culture who has the ability to motivate and inspire our students to achieve their best.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, ambitious and impactful leader to join our thriving academy and help shape the next stage of our journey.
Due to structural change, we are seeking to strengthen the Leadership Team with a forward-thinking Deputy Headteacher who has a proven track record of driving standards of behaviour and attendance in addition to embedding a positive student culture throughout a school.
This role would be suited to a strong behaviour lead with secondary senior leadership experience who prides themselves on being a tenacious leader with a keen eye for detail or an experienced Deputy Headteacher looking for a new challenge with a key interest in behaviour, attendance and developing school culture.
We are a ‘Good’ school with an improving results trajectory looking to make the next step on our improvement journey and require an experienced leader with exceptionally high expectations of student conduct. As a member of the senior leadership team, you will also be centrally involved in the overall leadership and management of the academy and will help to establish a school culture that is both nurturing and rigorous. This exciting post will offer a varying breadth of leadership and management responsibilities, which will provide an excellent grounding for Headship.
As part of the Fylde Coast Academy Trust (FCAT) our staff benefit from strong links with the wider network of other FCAT schools in Blackpool and across the Fylde Coast region. We harness expertise across the trust and work collaboratively in quality improvement groups so that our teachers can learn from and share ideas with colleagues.
