The Headteacher and Governors would like to appoint or second an inspirational, highly motivated Deputy Headteacher with a strong desire to make a difference and positively impact the lives of the children in our school. We are looking for somebody with a strong understanding of effective teaching and learning who will be instrumental in supporting the Headteacher and Staff to deliver quality first teaching.
Castor CofE Primary School is a school where the right candidate can really make a difference and work alongside the Headteacher, Governors and L.A. in improving the quality of the curriculum offer and further improve teaching and learning. It would be a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for career development or potentially considering becoming a Headteacher or Head of School themselves and has the drive and skills to impact change and accelerate the progress already accomplished.
This post would be suitable for people who have previous experience of working in Leadership in a primary school and are looking to progress in their career and develop wider leadership responsibilities.
Depending on the interest and experience of candidate, the role will include either:
0.4 fte teaching commitment
or
0.4 fte SENDCo/Inclusion Leader role
