Chase Terrace Academy is an 11-18 school of around 1350 students set in the outskirts of Cannock Chase in Burntwood, Staffordshire. As a new member of the JTMAT, we are excited to play an active role in the work of the trust, and we already have strong links to the John Taylor Teaching School Hub. Our CPD provision for staff is well established and carefully planned to deliver on school and JTMAT strategic priorities. We have a clear vision for teaching and learning and staff work hard to provide rich and engaging opportunities for both our staff and students. We have an engaging and comprehensive career stage development programme for staff and we are involved in the delivery of the trust wide CPD offer.
The school has a growing, vibrant and successful Sixth Form which supports students in achieving their Post-16 and Post-18 ambitions. As well as a strong and broad curriculum with high quality teaching at its core, Sixth Form students at Chase Terrace Academy are able to undertake a range of enrichment activities and work experience in order to develop a wider skill set.
Chase Terrace Academy joined the John Taylor Multi Academy Trust in April 2022. We are extremely excited at the opportunities that our collaboration with JTMAT will bring to our students, staff, to us as a school and to our wider community. JTMAT believes 'in the power of education to improve lives - and the world', and this aligns with our mission to ignite the aspiration of all our students and members of our community to achieve more than they ever thought possible.
We look forward to welcoming you to our school.
