We are seeking a Deputy Headteacher to build on our school culture and take it to an outstanding level. This person will be responsible for the furtherance of professional standards of staff as well as the holistic support of students, leading in the building of strong, professional relationships that form the foundation of the work we do to help pupils achieve the best outcomes.
The successful candidate will be an experienced leader with a track record of excellent results. They will share the school’s vision and the belief that all pupils can achieve at the high est levels. This is a senior role in the school with substantial responsibility and the opportunity to have a broad impact on the running of the school. Working alongside the Headteacher, as one of two Deputy Headteachers, the successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the school at a very exciting time in its development.
Whilst not a requirement for selection, the role would be suited to an individual who aspires to Headship in the near future. For such a candidate, we will put in place appropriate training and support such as the NPQH and wider Trust work.

- You will demonstrate proactive, strategic leadership, understanding when to take decisions and how to communicate these effectively;
- You
will be an effective and highly visible team leader;
- Your ability to influence, inspire and motivate a wider team is an essential part of the role
- You will have significant experience of safeguarding, ideally gained working as a Deputy DSL or DSL;
- You will model positivity and optimism at all times, knowing that as a Deputy Headteacher, you are a role model for other teachers and leaders.
- You will be able to demonstrate the impact of your leadership in gaining the very best outcomes for students.
