Job description

Full time Deputy Headteacher required with responsibility for the quality of teaching and learning; wider delivery of an enriched and exciting school curriculum; line management of key staff; overall deployment, analysis, research into and impact of pupil premium spending; raising achievement and improving progress for pupils of all ages and abilities.

Essential educational requirements

First Degree or equivalent

Essential qualifications

Qualified Teacher status

Essential skills and experience

Evidence of continuing professional development relating to school leadership and management and to curriculum/teaching and learning
At least four years' experience of middle leadership: Phase Leader/Core Curriculum
Highly effective teaching experience, in more than one Key Stage
Successful experience in a leadership and management role, leading to whole school improvement
Experience of high impact monitoring and evaluation of teaching and learning and of providing appropriate challenge and support
Supporting, developing and challenging staff in their practice to improve outcomes for pupils
Experience of working with children with a range of SEND
