They will be well organised, pay attention to detail and be able to meet deadlines. They will be responsible for assisting the Head Teacher in supervising the day-to-day activities of the school, ensuring high standards of behaviour and teaching and learning and deputise in their absence.
They will have the children at the centre of their actions and be an effective Pastoral lead with a strong interest in promoting good mental health of staff, pupils and parents. The right candidate will have an interest, if not current experience, in the role of deputy safeguarding lead.
Our school is situated in the picturesque and historic village of East Coker. We currently have eight classes, some of which are mixed age.
