Job summary
The governors, staff and pupils of Eaton Bray Academy are looking for an inspirational Deputy Headteacher to join our team due to the retirement of the current postholder. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading our school as part of our leadership team.
We are looking for a strong teacher with proven leadership experience who will show a commitment to the school, and will continue to drive forwards the school's vision to create happy, inspired, lifelong learners. They will play a significant part in the strategic development of the school, helping to shape the curriculum, driving improved pupil outcomes and continuing to raise standards in all subjects.
Eaton Bray Academy is a one form entry academy that caters for children between 2 and 11. We are located within the village of Eaton Bray, near to Dunstable and Leighton Buzzard within central Bedfordshire. We are also within easy reach of Milton Keynes and Aylesbury, as we sit close to the Buckinghamshire border. We benefit from an experienced staff team, who all show a great dedication to the children and the school. As a small school everyone in our team works closely together to support each other, and we all contribute to many aspects of school life. We are rated as a "good" school and are continually improving to provide the best possible education for our pupils.
Whilst the position is full time, we would also consider applicants who would be willing to work as part of a job share as we recognise the value that this can bring.

Eaton Bray Academy is a co-educational day school which caters for children aged 4 - 11 years of all abilities. Our Nursery provides education for children from the term after they are two.
