What skills and experience we're looking for
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dynamic and ambitious Deputy Headteacher to join our highly successful Leadership Team. Candidates should want to play a significant role in leading the school, with the capacity to drive school improvement, lead staff and have clear impact on student outcomes.
Edgbarrow School believes in setting the highest standards in all areas of school life and we are looking for a purposeful and committed individual who wants to join and enhance our strong team. We offer an excellent induction programme, promotion prospects and a highly supportive working environment. The Deputy Headteacher role would also qualify in the admissions process for your child to attend Edgbarrow if you live out of catchment. This would come into operation after two years of service.
If you are interested in joining Edgbarrow School and you have the skills and the qualities required for this post, we would be delighted to hear from you. A visit to the School is recommended.
What the school offers its staff
Edgbarrow is located in the village of Crowthorne, Berkshire. It is a thriving, vibrant and high-achieving secondary school where students are polite, happy, well behaved and motivated. It was recently judged by Ofsted as outstanding.

The trust is very popular and for most posts a large number of applications are received - it is thus not possible to notify all applicants of the outcome. Please accept that if you have not heard within three weeks of the closing date then, unfortunately, your application has been unsuccessful - in which case we offer our best wishes for the future.
