Norton College 11 - 18

Located 12 miles north east of York, Norton College is an exciting place to study and teach. We believe our students can be truly brilliant. A set of core values called ASPIRE shape all our work. These values are coupled with a belief in developing students’ self-belief and helping them work hard in all that we do together. Families choose us because of our culture of high expectations, coupled with a “family feel” where students are known and respected as individuals. A strong sixth form enables all our students to stay with us for seven years.

We pride ourselves on our commitment to high quality teaching and learning, ensuring our students are stimulated, confident and engaged. Our curriculum is planned to offer all our students the opportunity for high academic achievement and personal fulfilment through a wide range of curricular and extra-curricular activities. We also provide strong pastoral and careers support.

Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted (September 2017) this is a real opportunity to make a significant difference in a college, which has clearly identified objectives and a real desire to achieve. There is a clear upward trajectory and your remit is to improve pupil outcomes and make us outstanding.
