Are you a visionary deputy leader seeking to be an integral part of an educational community that nurtures an environment where all children can flourish? An opportunity awaits you to support in the leadership of an academy dedicated to developing the whole child and has a people first culture. As a Deputy Headteacher you will be instrumental in driving student progress and attainment in the school with a particular focus on Quality of Education, Achievement and Curriculum.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Support the Headteacher in developing and implementing the vision and strategic direction of the Academy
  • Support the Headteacher in the day-to-day leadership of the Academy, deputising for them as required
  • Provide strategic leadership for overseeing and embedding quality and standards in teaching, learning and assessment across the academy
  • Ensure standards of support are effective across all areas of responsibility
  • Set high expectations for staff and students


  

Pay range: L18 - L22 - £71,729.00 - £79,112.00

  

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified teacher status or recognised equivalent
  • Knowledge of current education legislation, Ofsted framework and best practice
  • Proven success of improving student outcomes within a school
  • Ability to work strategically and to seek and implement creative solutions
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to inspire and challenge colleagues, peers and teams
